I normally offer new clients a choice of a free 15 minutes consultation or a 50 minutes video consultation for a reduced rate of just £35. I invite you to arrange this by getting in touch, using the details below. This gives us you an opportunity to meet me, ask me any questions you may have and for us to decide if we are a good fit to work together. We can explore what I can offer and the support you are looking for.
Before your free consultation, it will be helpful for you to read through the information on this website; this will give you some additional information before we talk.
There is no obligation for you to enter into therapy, and it may be that I can refer you to a more suited colleague - the most important thing is that you feel comfortable with the therapist who you choose. If the right person for you isn't me, I will be happy to support you to find the right therapist.
You deserve to feel better, and I would be honoured to work with you. You only have to click on this link Email contact to send a message and take that first step. You may choose to contact me by text. If you call and get my answerphone, please do leave a message. I will aim to reply to your enquiry as soon as I am available, certainly within 24 hours. I am hopeful that we would be able to arrange an initial appointment within a week of first contact.
Simply text, call or email to set up an appointment. I look forward to engaging with you.
What happens during the initial meeting / Consultation?
A successful therapeutic relationship depends on a ‘good fit’ between client and counsellor. So, it is vital that you feel safe with me and the 50 minutes consultation I offer at a reduced rate, is a good way for us to see if we feel able to work together and for us to explore how best I can support you.
The consultation also provides a chance for us to meet and an opportunity to get a sense of each other. I'll ask you what you're looking for and briefly why you're thinking about counselling or therapy. This allows me to gain some understanding of the issues you are facing and what you hope to gain from counselling. Remember you choose how much you want to say or not. I appreciate that contacting a counsellor is a big step for most people. Please feel free at any stage to ask any questions that you may have or ask me to clarify anything that you don't understand.
If I believe that the issues you are facing exceed my professional capabilities, or if you feel that I am not the right therapist for you, I will endeavour to point you in the right direction.
If we do decide to proceed together, then we can confirm a regular day and time that works for us both.
